11th Hour Character Profile: Cookie Boy Norio
Dec 22nd
It’s time to introduce you all to the characters of our latest show, The 11th Hour. For those of you just tuning in, The 11th Hour follows four individuals in a manhunt turned rat-race against time. The show is inspired by the hit series 24 but only as far as the time aspect; the show details are more anime-esque so expect character development, sinister plots, tough bad guys and huge battles
.
11th Hour Photoshoot Pt2
Oct 16th
So it’s the third ever mayamada photoshoot and this time the show is the 11th Hour. As a refresher, the 11th Hour follows four strangers as they fight to survive a series of seemingly random attacks in a 24 style race against time. In fact, the pocket watch can be considered the symbol of the show and we incorporated this prop into our shoot.
COMIC CON!!! Part 3
May 29th
Okay first things first, I’ve just noticed a startling trend in our blog titles concerning exclamation marks. Now that’s out of the way we can have a look at what we got up to at today’s 2011 MCM Comic Con in London (UK).
We had a great time and in the process met some great people sporting awesome cosplay.
What follows are all of the entrants in our cosplay competition. The best dressed will win a free T-shirt! These pictures will also feature on our facebook page so you can tag yourself if you have been featured. Winner’s will be announced in a week’s time so check back often for updates.

Get Serious!
Apr 10th
So far the response to our original mayamada show, The Samurai Chef has been great but we don’t plan to stop there, goodness no! As summer approaches we have plans to bring out more tees based on original mayamada shows and we are happy to reveal some sneak peak info on some of our latest creations!
Show Title: Serious
Big Idea: If you serious about an idea or dream, with hard work and the right people behind you, it can become a reality!
Main Character: Blake Smithe [aka Blake Serious]
Age: 19
Personality: Confident, Cool temperament
Favorite Film: The Social Network
Quote: “One way or another, it’s getting done!”
As you can see this young chap looks pretty serious and we are itching to reveal more about the plot and supporting characters, so look out for updates coming soon.
For this show were working with an artist know as Illustriousman, a name which kind of reminds me of the Illusive Man from Mass Effect 2 only this artist is not nearly shady. I personally really like his style and look forward to creating more characters with him. You can check out more of his work here:

We have also been working with a talented animator Washue who has created a cool little gif of our Great Panda Dan from The 11th Hour. I really want reveal more about that show but for now I leave you with this:
Join our fan page to stay up to date with all or activities in the wild and check our more of Washue’s Art here:
Stay tuned!

Re-launch Photoshoot
Feb 6th
It’s been a while since our last photoshoot and here we are again, this time near Brick Lane (btw, great for curries if you are in that part of London). As you probably know, we have 3 new designs on the way and the aim of the shoot was to to capture the essence of each with the use of somewhat quirky yet related props.
The day started off pretty early (well early for a Saturday if you ask me). As you would expect, the models had to be made-up and changed before we made our way to Spitalfields market where our Word Salad T-shirts were shot.
The idea was to create a visual pun by including a bowl of salad sprinkled with colored magnetic letters and chopsticks . We asked the models to have fun with the props and as you can see, they had a great time.
Not too far away we took the pictures for the Serious Sound design which is about about music and good vibes. The props were a combination of a vinyl record and headphones – why you would want to walk around with a vinyl out of its sleeve is anyone’s guess but it’s quirky so we ran with it
.
Finally, we found a wall with somewhat odd graffiti and this served as the location for our Cut the Cake tee shots. The prop here is a rolling pin, often used for baking … or bludgeoning if that’s your forte.
Over all it was a great day and we’ll feature the final pictures on our brand spanking new site so look out for further announcements over the coming weeks!
StreetFest !!!!!
Jun 3rd
In the UK it was a long weekend and boy did we take advantage! The weather just about held up so we made it a point to check out one of the first summer events of the year, StreetFest.
For those of you that did not click the link above, StreetFest describes itself as “London’s number one street culture festival” which we would agree with. There was a lot going on, Graffiti, Strret Dance, BMX, Skatebaording, Inline, photography, Street art, FOOD music and surprisingly T-Shirts! We didn’t expect to see our fellow competitors in such force but I wouldn’t call it a stretch to say Tshirts were a major attraction.
We ran into the ladies from Show Love “The brand with heart”. I had to get a shot of the varsity jacket shown below. Why? I just love em okay and that’s why I snagged another shot with one of the lads from Ask Your Girl.
We really liked the persistent logo.
Kayobi’s African infused clothing were also present at the festival and drew a fair bit of interest. These guys really understand their audience with their tongue in cheek nod to African culture found within the “Make X not war” line.
There was an opportunity to design your very on Addidas trainers.
(Note the detailed London skyline)
We met Supremebeing as soon as we stepped into the festival. Great guys and a selection that really reflects the brand ethos.
All in all, it was a good day. We came away entertained, better informed and encourages by our fellow T-shirt makers. Everyone was in high spirits and we wish we could feature all of the companies but space is short.
