Mayamada at the London Anime Convention

The London Anime Convention is fast approaching and we’ll be there on the 11th and 12th of February at the The Rocket Complex London Metropolitan University.
As well as anime screenings, video games, manga and cosplay, there’s a chance to see the latest mayamada t-shirts and artwork posters on sale too.
We’ll also be unveiling our BRAND NEW limited edition hoodie at the show so make sure you’re there to see it 
Check out the Anime League website for all the events happening over the two days. It’ll be our first appearance and we’ll be having fun with photos. Whether you’re a cosplayer our not they will be a chance at winning a prize for taking part in our photo competitions. All you have to stop by the mayamada stall and ask to join in – that’s it!
Last but not least, as sponsors of the show, 5 lucky people will be able to win t-shirts as part of the Anime Con event winners.

Interview With The Geek Show

During our first visit to MCM as dealers, we got the chance to meet up with the friendly guys over at the Geek Show. They do a live radio show every Monday 6-8pm which can be streamed live on thegeekshow.co.uk or on real life radio (104. 5 fm) if you’re in the Teesside area – that’s north England for our international viewers

Mayamada Manga: Hot Lunch Part 2

We’re back with the next episode of Hot Lunch, showing the story of a slick team of food thieves led by Taishi – a tiger on a mission for revenge.
A few years have passed since Taishi was booted out from the Circle of Flavour apprenticeship and he is now looking to recruit his team members to help with his plan to take down the chef cartel.
The first on the list is Tancho: A smart-mouthed strategist who has outgrown his current crew and is looking for his next big opportunity.

The Mayamada Stall at MCM Expo

We’re now only two days away from the MCM Expo at London Excel and we’re running around to bring everything together just right.
If you making your way down on any of the days from the 28th-30th, be sure to stop by our stall and say hi.
Here’s a sneek peak at some of what you’ll find waiting for you…of course we have our t-shirts including the new 11th Hour design.
Every package will come with a manga page and a few other surprises…
We’ll also be giving away these very cool oystercard holders for all cosplayers that take part in our competition…or if you ask us nicely
Plus, there will be regular giveaways every 90 minutes throughout the three days of the event. All you have to do is get a ticket from us and see if yours is the winning one….that’s it! We won’t tell you what the prize is…We don’t want to spoil the surprise!
Be sure to come by our stall when you visit MCM this weekend and hang out with us – just look for the guys in mayamada t-shirts having a great time ^_^
Calling All MCM Expo Cosplayers

As we get our plans together for the MCM Expo, we want to let all you cosplayers know about our competition to win a free mayamada t-shirt.
The rules are simple…
- Become a fan of mayamada on Facebook.
- Visit our stall in you best cosplay gear.
- Have you picture taken – get your poses ready!
- Check out the pictures on the fan page the day after MCM.
- Tag yourself when you see you picture.
- We’ll pick a shortlist of photos for everyone to vote for their favourite.
- The winner will get a free mayamada t-shirt!
We’ll announce who the lucky cosplayer is on Monday November 14th.
The MCM Expo is at the end of the month from the 28th – 30th of October. As well as our cosplay competition, we’ll have t-shirts for sale (including a brand new design), plus regular giveaways throughout the event.
We’ll be at MCM all 3 days so there’s plenty of time to stop by and take part to win a free t-shirt.

Super Fun Picnic Time!

It’s now only a few weeks until our picnic in Hyde Park and the excitement is building.
We’ll be in Hyde Park on the 20th of August for a fun day out to celebrate the end of summer, mayamada style. We’ll have FREE food and drink, a t-shirt giveaway and a few other surprises too
We recently got a bunch flyers printed to hand out and we’re putting together the menu and plans for entertainment. You keep up with our plans for the day on the event page.
Mayamada 5K Charity Race
Jul 18th
We’re running 5K race for charity on the 27th of August. If you’re free that day come down to support us for 12 laps of physical exertion for a good cause.
We’ll be at the race track at Brunel University for 1pm: Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 3PH

Brand New Website: Doing It Live!

Those of you that tune into these pages often will know that we’ve recently finished our rebranding and have a new range of tees out under the new mayamada brand. You’ll also know that we have been hard at work on our new website. Well…(deep breath)…it’s done!
It’s been a massive effort and a big thanks goes to everyone who pitched in along the way (you know who you are), we couldn’t have done it without you.
